Introduction: Islam is the complete code of life. Islam leaves no area of human life.The perfect and final shape of Shariat is Islam. It is the best prescription for Mankind. Allah, the most high says,
"surely to Allah,the only code of life for mankind is Islam" (Sura Al-i-Imran:19)
Introduction to Aqaid : Islam consists of two aspects . One is related to belief and another to practical conduct or application . The aspect related to belief is Aqaid and it includes Allah, Prophets , Angels, Life after death , Paradise and Hell etc. It is through the elements of Aqaid that one enters into the fold of Islam . Actually, Believe in all aspects of Islam is Aqaid which is must for being a real Muslim or mumin.
Akhirat : Akhirat means the “after-life” The life to come after man’s death is Akhirat . There are two phases in man’s life . These are the life here and the hereafter . The life here is worldly life . The new life that begins immidiately after man’s death is called the life hereafter or Akhirat . It has a beginning but no end . It is man’s eternal abode . Akhirat is one of the important issues of Iman . In the Islamic view, belief in Akhirat is indespensible . Without Believing in Akhirat , it is not possible to be become a mumin.
Stages of Akhirat : There are many Stages of Akhirat . The stages are as follows:
1.Death
2.Qabr(Grave)
3.Qiyamat (The Doomsday)
4.Hasr (Grand Assembly)
5.Mizan (The Balance)
6.Sirat(The Bridge)
7.Shafaat (Intercission)
8.Jannat (Heaven)
9.Jahannam(Hell)
Role of Akhirat in Forming Pious and Moral Life : Akhirat is the Unending life of Human . It is Overlasting . Infact, earthly life is the ground of preparation for Akhirat . It is Said-
“The world is the Harvesting field of Akhirat” (Proverb)
Belief in Akhirat is very important for building up the earhly life. Belief in Akhirat compels man to lead his life by following morality and ideals . A Person Who believes in Akhirat takes the responsibilities of his own activities daily . Thus, by rectifying his own faults through self-criticism everyday he comes to process a moral character.
In Akhirat the virtuous man will be admitted into Jannat . Jannat is the place of eternal peace . The hope of Jannat renders man virtous in his earthly life. Thus, man performs good deeds and feels inspired towards good deeds from the hope of getting Jannat.
In Akhirat the disbelievers will be punished . So, from the fear of the punishment in Akhirat, a man remains far from injustice and sin . They can restrain themselves from any evil deeds very easily from the fear of Punishment.
Conclusion : As, believe in Akhirat restrains human beings from all forms of wrongs , big or small and inspires to lead a sin-free, virtuous and peaceful life . So, believing in Akhirat plays a vital role in forming a Pious and Moral Life.
